Good news; wife's work is going to pay for broadband
bad news; I now just have to break someones arm to install more service in our area.
Good news; I may have a paying job making a website
bad news; I have a waterfall to build,a pool that needs a major cleaning(clients),
pond plumbing that needs redoing and a ton of homework.
bad news;I am 35 and a little overwhelmed
Good news; I could be 19 living with my parents and working at taco bell.
see ya space cowboy.

Just finished homework for the night or at least all I'm doing for the night. Sometimes I think about my old job(themeing construction) and wonder if all this schooling is worth it (training for the new job) ,hell a lot of tech jobs are going overseas and I'm getting a late start.
My old job was no walk in the park, well any construction job is harder to cope with. There is the money factor, construction does pay well, but the time you are assigned to complete a task is slowly shrinking and I'm just getting slower. I am currently subcontracting, but it just pays the bills no vacations in Aspen in our future. The funny thing is when I do finish school I will have to go thru the whole new guy on the totem pole thing. On top of all that I will have to compete with the kids who when they want can work twice as fast as me. Well at least I'll be inside, 15 year of construction has taught me to appreciated air conditioning.

Well it's friday and I have all my work done for the week. So its time to blog and download. I do this at school because they has a much faster connection. One thing I recomend to all newbees is never get a broadband, because when you lose it and have to go back to a dial up, well we won't go there. Our town does has broadband (DSL)but for some reason they are just to lazy to add more service to my area. That's pretty bad we could make more money, but then we would have to work. So now I just wait for a happy day when I can go back to downloading something in a reasonable amount of time.
adios Ninos

Taking the advice of my younger peers (Chris) I am trying different layouts(googbye splitpea) and designs, also I am going to try to add more stuff (comment box, links and ??) and even tryout some JavaScript goodies. O.K. I know what your thinking, great Mike is using us as guinea pigs while he comes up with the next dancing hamsters. So with that in mind I will try to keep the annoying stunts to a minimum. well its getting late and I must save my strength for eating hollow chocolate bunnies and finishing homework.

I have one thing to say today anyone who thought that gen X was a bunch of slackers havn't seen gen Y in action. I have about five in my click at school and all they do is complain about their jobs and play their gameboy advanced during their free time. Then when an assignment is due, freak out that they didn't have enough time to do the assignment. Dam kids when will they learn

Just sitting here with Nikki watching GTech getting there butt kicked, but that's ok it gives me a chance to try out this blogging service. The dogs are starting to go to sleep, my homework is done and the only thing left to do is the dishes. I'm not really sure on how to end a blog so I'll see what the other bloggers do and try to do the same .....
