Oops I did it agian

Well, after getting the iBook back and since it is still working I decided to change the blog to reflect the current state of the iBook (resurrected) and with a little luck it will last me another year were it will be replaced with a powerbook G5.

I will keep this layout untill I get sick of looking at it (fall '04) which was done in cs. So Far I see little difference between Photoshop cs and 7.0, in fact other than more web tools and web options I see no difference.

Well I have to do the dishes and look up info on using modulus arithmetric with cgi/perl (I hate coding math).

$fustration = $math * (% + $MIKE)

Superman

I was watching buba ho-tep last night (if you like army of darkness you'll like this one) and I was thinking, they are looking for someone to play superman and I think Bruce Campbell is the guy they should use. Now, I now hollywood would like a twenty something to play the man of steel but just look at him Bruce Campbell he looks like superman and he can act (unlike the twenty somthings out there) and he is not an alist actor.

well hihoe hihoe it off to code i go

Things are not what they seem

Now that we are on week three and I have decided that I am going to be lucky to learn what I sighed up for. Let's go over what we have done so far (in the classes that I am taking)

Week one: we got the network to work in CGI/Perl and web design class.
week two: finished fixing bugs in network and installed Adobe CS.
week three: worked on IIS (still has bugs in it) and started adobe tutorials when the boss decides that we need another hard drive in the clients computers (the ones we use)
so now we get to install a hard drive and XP on to the new drive.

I wouldn't mind but, we also have to learn a computer language (Perl) and then learn how to use Photoshop and Illustrator in ten weeks. But, thing are looking up I got a "borrowed" copy of Illustrator and a crac.... a legal install, So now I can work at home.

Let the beatings begin

I think I'll pass out now

Today was the day to finish fixing things. Most of my day was spent beating my hea.... working on getting IIS (windows tool) to work with cgi and thanks to the Wilmenator for the help. Then I had to do some tweeking to the home network after tvn reset the DSL. Then I had to fix what the HVAC guys broke (door and a ac connection to my shed).

I noticed that blogger changed the create post setting so I'm going to see what else they changed.

veg, tv, sleep

Dazed and confused

Sundays are for homework, after a weekend of work I have earned a day of rest and thought. I have finish rough draft of Internet Biz questions and ch 2 CGI/Perl questions (I will wait for the viao to get back to finish writing script).

Got a call from the Mac guy and the ibook is fixed (we will see) and fed ex needs us to sigh for the viao so Monday will be a "test the computers and see if they are really fixed" day. If they are fixed I will then get to reconfigure the wireless network (both viao and ibook) then install firefox on the Sony (IE is no longer safe to use). Then if I have any time left I will try to use the CGI/Perl stuff on the Sony (It works on the Mac but, we use windows at school so I get to learn how it works on both platforms).

We saw(me and my wife) Spiderman 2 last night, and enjoyed it did live up to all the hype. I saw a better trailer to catwomen (still looks like a bad movie) and I saw the next movie me and the little Misses are going to see, "The Village" the trailer gave me the creeps (in my case that is good) that and I like that type of movie. Also I would like to see irobot (but, i don't think it will live up to the hype).

Well back to the books

First day and it's good to be back

Well so far so I like how this quarter is going. I still have a full load but, I only have to wait an hour between one of my classes, that means less time waiting around and more time working on homework. Which in turn means more free time to do other things like working on clients projects or even maybe even working on my ever growing honey do list. I also found out that Hope scholarship is paying for books (rock on) so I should soon be in the black soon.

*ahhh* relaxing at school

Happy 4TH Kids

Well after A week of fixing truck, and busting butt to pay off parts I decided to take a day off.

I will do what most people do around here, eat BBQ and light off illegal fireworks. I have always been kind of a closet pyro so you could say I look forward to tonight. Due to the lack of funds I will keep firework purchases to a minimum. I also wanted to try out a new (to me) ignition system using carbon filament a multi switch and a 12 volt battery that way I could sit back and enjoy the show. But again time and money prevent me from exploring my desire to be a better pyro geek.

God bless America

THE TRUCK IS FIXED

After replacing the clutch, Dual mass flywheel (don't ask) and misc I finally got my truck on the road and it only cost $800 (that was just parts). So now to pay that off I have to double up on the work for a while (yea) that and I am not sure if Hope scholarship is going to pay for books ($150).

I was really looking forward to summer break so I could take it easy but, instead I'm looking forward to going back to school so I can take it easy.

One good thing came out of the break I found someone who gave me 500 coin OP Roms so I think I'll go and relive some of my youth.
