Sad Day

Just found out my grandma in Texas just passed away this morning. Not sure if I can go to the funeral because it is this Tuesday, luckly my sister will be there to help support my mom.

she is in a far better place now

An open letter to David

Dear David,

Sorry I yelled at you today in the Cisco class for touching the routers. I thought you were plugging and unplugging stuff while I was trying to troubleshoot, where in fact you just were trying to point out that our sh@t was loose. I am used to yelling at people in construction and I forget sometime that everyone is not as hard skinned as I am.

Meshes and a resent Kelly sighting

I have been listening to a lot of Meshes lately.... Oh what's a mesh it's when you take two, three or more songs apart and make a new one out of the pieces. Most are ok but this one (click here) IMHO Kicks ass. It uses:

Weezer "Beverly Hills" VS
Queen "We Will Rock You"
Joan Jett "I Love Rock N Roll"
& Skynard "Sweet Home Alabama"

songs you would never thought could fit together, do.

Today while hanging out with David in one of the labs, Kelly stopped by and... hung out. I think this might be one of the signs of the apocalypse, what Kelly out of the pit of hell, what's next Wil getting his computer to work or Linda showing up on time, wow it's a brave new world.

A bad blog story

About two or three time a week I go around to see everyone's blog to see how ya'll are doing and maybe to get inspired to write something on my blog. But I have noticed that a lot of people, I will not name names, have let the ol' blogs go, and that's shame. Guess it was bound to happen after while it's just not the shiny new toy it used to be. Some blog die cuz their owners just have to many other blogs/sites. Others die cuz their owners don't think they have anything to write have about in their lifes... Hold on a sec who says it has to be real?

Jack and Dianne had been working close together for a year in the Factech office . They were the best team the company had, if one of the two had a Idea the other could finish it. While Jack was an ideaman, the creative one, Dianne was the smarter of the two figuring out how to put Jack's crazy ideas in to motion.

Hey that never happen... Who cares last time I checked, My blog, my rules. Heck if you want take that and write the next 50 words then let someone write the next ok by me. In a few weeks we will have a book... Oh sorry lost focus... Where was I.....

Some never takeoff due to laziness, while others just have no focus. Most of the times they are endless rants about mundane things that nobody care about, also the idea might be great but is writing so bad that you give it up after the first paragraph (I know I'm working on it).

Well that all I have for now better go back outside and tink about some'tin else
ta rant about... get back to work ya slackers

Star Wars Rant

Let me start off with I am guilty. Guilty of buying a product to get the crappy Star Wars toy. Now I told myself I will not buy this crap anymore. I have no need for this, it will just end up in the junk drawer in a week. So I bought it and I am now guilty of feeding this overwhelming amount of product placement.

I have given them a reason to put StarWars characters in every commercial, product and every pitch. Buy this cuz it's got StarWars crap in it or HEY look OBI wan kenobi is on the cover, and my favorite, look kids ol' Darth likes a big juicy big mac after killing all the damn jedi in the universe(would that be jedi or jedis). Anyway I'm sure when I go see the movie BAM "Get your official StarWars soundtrack featuring songs by eminem, Beyonce and green day now avaible at a store near you", Hey I just wanted to go and see a movie.

I just hope this is the last one cuz I need to start saving up for all the Batman Crap now.

Playing with my Tiger

My bday present(os 10.4) came in this week and I have just had enough time to install (clean) and play a little with it. They were able to squeeze more speed(good), make it easier to finding stuff (good), included widgets (very cool), and added a video chat(between up to 3 people) which I have no way to check out yet. There is more stuff but, I need to finish up and start a paper for comp and rhet.

I usally am not a early adopter of software/hardware but I thought I would give it a try. Now I havn't installed tiger on all my compys I'm going to wait and see if it is bug free (not likly).

getting a new version of software is like a geeky Xmas

Side track

I was talking to Chris the other night and he told me he was watching a TV show called...Gay men and the boys they love.... No, just kidding, he was watching "The Pretender". I think at the time when the show was out, well I was killing lots and lots of brain cells, because I thought it was another TV show (to be named later). So I made sure we were talking about the same show. Well, we were not, so he sends a link to the imdb and then my mad journey to find the right one starts.

First I do a google on the facts that I do remember, old rich brit, with Jaguar, helping people through an add in the paper. Well I get 400,000 hits. Then I try all kinds of different stuff, Mike post search (cuz if it was the 80s he did the music to everything), asked Chris (yeah I know, dumb idea)and finally slept on it.

Well I got home today and in about 30 sec I found the name... The Equalizer , not a very good show, but I had to find it.

Now if I were a sane person I would have let it go...But NO I had to obsess on some trivial fact on a crappy 1980s TV show. All day today I was trying to think of something to help me find my answer. When I should have been learning trivial computer stuff, that I can impress.... Some other... Computer people.

Learning useless crap since 1969
